Blue and gold Porcelain ‘Wings’ earrings #2

A pair of one of a kind hand made porcelain earrings with illustrated blue patterns and  gold lustre detail, on gold plated sterling silver hooks.

The design is inspired by moth, butterfly and insect wings and patterns.

These earrings are made by me, in my home studio in Castlemaine, central Victoria

Earrings are approximately: Porcelain drop- 2.7 h x 2.7 w

Care: these pieces are fired to high stoneware temperatures, (1260 - 1300 degrees c) to ensure that they are strong and durable. They will withstand normal wear and tear - but will most likely not survive being dropped on hard surfaces ie: tiles or concrete. They can be washed in warm water and soap if they become dirty - especially on any unglazed /matte surfaces.
